East Cobb Islamic Center is organized to present Muslims in the East Cobb area an opportunity to practice their religion in all its aspects, to realize the full benefits of a community of Muslims without regard to their ethnicity, language, culture or national origin and to expand the benefits of communal living to the larger populace of East Cobb.

Masjid Construction/Renovation:

The existing washrooms are vestiges from times this used to be a different place of worship. Recognizing the importance of taharah for performing ibadah, we are in the process of renovating the existing space. The new facilities should accomodate many more worshippers. Several rooms on the south side of the building have been expanded into a single large space which will hence be a private sanctuary for sisters to pray in. For smaller services we will continue to provide a private area in the back of the main hall. Time is of essence and we are racing against time to complete all of this before the next Ramadan. All of this costs money. Many of you have contributed your time and money... we could do with more. Please donate generously, using the donation boxes on site.
